We had a good time camping here. But some of the things that we didn't like are- The spaces are very small and we could hardly fit our car and trailer in the space for it. We didn't care for the grumpy camp host, even though they did keep the restrooms clean. There is no beach area accessible for us to play at. At the entrance of the campground is a PAY HERE kiosk, so we stopped and paid for 3 days as a "daily pass", but then later the next day, the camp host came and told us that we needed to pay for the 2nd car in our spot. We told them that we both had already paid for the daily pass for our cars. Both of us had. She then told us that we didn't need to pay that pass, that it was for boats (obviously not very clear) So that we frustrating that we had both paid for that daily pass that we didn't need to do. We didn't have a boat. So warning to all campers that the pass is if you have a boat only. not for your car.

The camp site was large and clean. The bathroom was clean. The view was amazing!!!
The reason for 3 Stars was the shower room. There were 3 women’s showers for the entire camp ground and only 2 worked plus there was no hot water.

I am sorry to offer a poor review this is a beautiful area but we picked a site on a hill and it was too windy to set up a tent. We had to leave to rent a cabin and basically paid double. The sites on a hill are pretty but not practical.

Our campsite was quite nice and provided some shade as trees surrounded it. Camp hosts were great! The bathrooms are not primitive (bonus) - but you’ll need to bring soap!
