Site was difficult to get our 28 foot camper into, the railroad ties limited space to open our stairs and slide. Restrooms were always clean, the showers weren’t good as far as shower heads go.

This campsite is great! There’s a path to the water, quick walk to the bathroom, and it’s beautiful. We would definitely come back again!

The views were amazing and all of the spots were set up well for as much privacy as you can get, which is more than I expected. We enjoyed our time here and used this as our base to explore Rocky Mountain National Park which is just a 15 minute drive to the gate. Lots of amenities nearby in Grand Lake including grocery stores, laundromat, and plenty of restaurants and things to do. The only issue we had was the showers. One set were out of order so everyone was using the other set of showers which made it difficult to keep clean. The water got into the area you use to keep everything dry as well in one of the stalls. But they were still useable. We'll definitely consider this campground again in the future if we are this way.
