Came from Texas with my wife to visit Rocky. It was 3 days tour plan. Reserved here for one night (the last night of our 3 days tour) but couldn't stay, as heavy snowfall was forecasted in the next morning. Driving would become hazardous in that condition. So we left earlier that night for Texas. Other than that, it was as amazing as I saw in the pictures. Beautiful views of Rocky mountains and Granby lake along with a lovely beach very near of our site. Campground had no water though that time and they notified us earlier via email to bring our own water. But it was not a problem for us. In the mail, they even were generous enough to offer a portion of our reservation money back due to this water shortage issue. So really can't complain there. We reserved our spot online and found it in our name, when reached the site. No problem there as well. Overall, great experience! Stayed there till sunset. Only regret is, we couldn't stay there overnight and see the sunrise next morning, due to the then forecasted severe snowfall. We are planning to visit Rocky again very soon. This time only to drive through the Trail Ridge Road (it was closed when we visited there in mid-May). Our plan is to start from Estes Park and end in Grand Lake. And when we will reach Grand Lake, definitely will stay here for another 1-2 nights.
