This campground was the perfect place to stay after a few days in the Rockies. I stayed at C116 and had a gorgeous view of the sunset over the lake. You can walk around to a little amphitheater or down to the water at several points. The campsites are fairly well-spaced so although there aren't any trees, you still get a little sense of privacy. The bathrooms were also some of the cleanest I have seen at any campsite. Drove up to Grand Lake for a delicious bbq dinner one night, and hiked part of the CDT near the Berthoud Pass. You can easily drive into Rocky Mountain NP as well. 10/10 would recommend!

Nice little beach spot right on our camp site though the campsite next to us hogged the whole section which ran into our site and someone else tried to take our site

Bathrooms were clean and although there isn’t much privacy from other campsites, everyone was super nice. Walk to the lake was great and the little beach.
