This was our first true camping trip with our new camper and I am so glad we went here first. The spot had a beautiful view, see pics, and the electricity and water made it so easy to get into the groove of camping. It was very warm during the day and cool at night. Everyone was very respectful and kind to each other. Very clean bathrooms as well. The camp was easy to access and navigate. Can't wait to come back next year!

Make sure you know your total length of your trailer and vehicle combined. The web site for reservations gives the total length of pad. Beautiful area with a lot to explore.

This campground was the perfect place to stay after a few days in the Rockies. I stayed at C116 and had a gorgeous view of the sunset over the lake. You can walk around to a little amphitheater or down to the water at several points. The campsites are fairly well-spaced so although there aren't any trees, you still get a little sense of privacy. The bathrooms were also some of the cleanest I have seen at any campsite. Drove up to Grand Lake for a delicious bbq dinner one night, and hiked part of the CDT near the Berthoud Pass. You can easily drive into Rocky Mountain NP as well. 10/10 would recommend!
