Nice campgrounds with a gorgeous view! Beach is awesome to hang out and play with the dogs. Water is a little cold, but refreshing after hiking. Full bathroom with showers. Also, love having a wood burning fire while camping - not many campgrounds that allow this in CO.

Our campsite had a good view of the lake. Close to Rocky Mountain National Park. Good restaurants in town.

You need a generator policy. I had 3 generators around me that ran ALL DAY LONG and the camp host said that was allowed. We actually left early since it was so miserable. We will not return to any national forest campgrounds because of this. You really should put some limitations on generators. Any city noise ordinance would forbid this so why doesn't the national forest?
