Lovely location overlooking the town of Ouray, Co. Plenty of shade, very friendly campground hosts who keep the restrooms immaculately clean. Campsites are good for tents and small RV's, Not big rig friendly. Campground hosts reported incidents with bears, but I didn't see or hear of any evidence of them. Campground is 5 minutes from Ouray, an hour from Telluride or Silverton. Camped there second week of September.

Campground hosts were fantastic and the area is beautiful. Campground is very tight for getting trailers into, but with the host's help we were able to get right in without any issues. Only downside is while the bathrooms were clean inside, they were smelly outside and that would regularly blow though the site. Loved the campground and would stay definitely again.

We have stayed here the last couple years and the hosts were so kind and clearly take great care of the campground. Beautiful place to enjoy.

I was able to book this site for a 29' trailer, but the site was very tight. The host was very helpful and we were able to squeeze into the site. This spot was very quiet and private. The breeze only blew the smell of the nearby toilet our way a few times. We enjoyed sharing our site with a resting buck for about 45 minutes.

This campsite is beautiful and well maintained. Our tent site was clearly raked before we showed up, which was very nice. It was pretty quiet while we were there. Our only comment in sites 8 & 9 is that the bathroom smell would frequently blow down the hill, which was pretty unpleasant while eating. But otherwise, we had a great stay and would definitely go back.

The camp hosts, Nancy and Dave, were fabulous! Very friendly and helpful. The campsites were very clean and beautifully raked. The outhouses were kept very clean. There are nice hiking trails from the campground and many others close by.
