Great campsites and friendly staff/hosts. Stayed here while visiting telluride. One thing to note is that sunshine campground was closer to town, but it is also smaller. Big plus that this one has a shower and multiple toilets! Only thing to note is that some sites can be noisy as the main road goes along the campground.

Quiet campground. We were able to switch to full hookup when we arrived which was nice. Good hiking right out of the campground.

Unfortunately the camp host gave away my campsite to someone who lied and said my belongings had been abandoned. I had left at 8:30 am and returned at 5 pm to find that I no longer had the campsite I had reserved 6 months ago. She was able to find a site for me to stay the night. I’d chalk this up to inexperience because people are going to try to steal campsites on a regular basis and the camp host should be setting boundaries to pushy and dishonest people.

Loved staying at this campground! Beautiful area and close enough to Telluride to visit but far enough away to avoid the crowds and enjoy some solitude. The host was great, and the campsites were well maintained. Will definitely visit again!

It was nice& overall fine! Our favorite part was the white noise from the water! We stayed at 3 campsites this trip and sadly this was our least favorite. We didn’t like the traffic noise and there was tons of mosquitoes.

We didn’t stay long& there were bathrooms nearby, so it was great to stay there for the night & have somewhere isolated to go to bed!

Great little campground, short bike ride to Trout Lake. Short car ride to Mountain Village, with free gondolas into Telluride. This was our second time, we will be back! Camp host was very friendly and helpful, unlike last time.
