Great atmosphere. Quiet and right by a little town which made running errands if needed easy. Frisco was right down the street and was the cutest little town with great restaurants, bars, and shops. Highly recommend.

Heaton Bay Campground is a beautiful campground! There's a limited number of sites with electricity, so book your site early. The restrooms didn't have sinks or showers, just vault toilets, but they were kept exceptionally clean. There are numerous hiking/biking trails nearby, and just walking around the campground reveals gorgeous views, especially in the fall. Also, the quaint community of Frisco is close-by and definitely worth a visit if you like to shop.
