What Guests Are Saying
Peak One Campground boasts a fantastic location near trails, towns, and Lake Dillon, making it ideal for outdoor activities. The campground is clean, well-maintained, and offers good privacy between sites. However, there are ongoing issues with restroom facilities, as vault toilets remain closed and only porta-potties are available, which some guests found less than satisfactory.

Loved the views and closeness to town. Only hassle was the water situation due to all the remodel work going on but that's not the campgrounds fault! Trying to book another one here for this coming summer.

We enjoyed our campsite at the Peak One Campground. We had a level spot for our popup camper and a nice picnic table and fire ring. We started some mountain bike rides right from our site and also were able to carry our inflatable SUP (standup paddleboards) right to the reservoir edge. The views are great and so is being close to the reservoir.

Nice views of the lake and surrounding mountains due to sparse tree cover. Quiet and peaceful. Close to the charming town of Frisco. Recommend kayaking on the lake and stop at one of the uninhabited small islands. Hike the North Ten Mile Creek Trail. Would visit again!

My extended family enjoyed Peak One campground. It is close to Dillon Reservoir, the town of Frisco and many hiking opportunities. We stayed just after July 4th, 2019 and with late snows the trails were wet or blocked with snow drifts but we persevered and even the kids liked hiking. The campground is kept very clean and firewood was available for purchase. If the bathrooms were updated it would be harder to get a reservation, but there was cold running water for hand washing.

Campers must occupy the site the first night at a campsite. This precents booking the site for Fri-Sun and showing up on a Saturday. |

Campers may leave the site for 24 hours and must occupy the site otherwise. This allows a camper to say go for an overnight backpack trip in the woods for one night and come back to their campsite the next day. |
