The stars at this campsite are amazing! The sites are large and spaced out, there is a hiking trail at the top of the loop. Despite being so remote the site had cell coverage, water and bathrooms!

Driving from Denver area takes around 3-4 hrs thru Colorado Spring and Florence. The drive is not difficult at all. Once in Florence the sign to turn to CO-67 S is hidden so listen to your GPS and turn when it tells you to turn. No need to fill your water tank in your RV before you leave home the Wet Mountain RV Park in Westcliffe has water for 50 cents a gallon and they also have a dump station. Very nice staff at this RV park. Alvarado campground is very clean and has beautiful views and is worth the drive. Plan your trip and you won't be disappointed.
