Beautiful spot, very well looked after and not too crowded. Some irritating neighboring campers with loud music and noisy vehicles after hours, but that's difficult to stop anywhere.

had problem with my camp site and the camp host was no where to be found. Stayed in a different site and had no further problems.

A hidden gem up against the mountains in Westcliff. Pretty campsite within a aspen forest. Camp is clean and host has been great year after year!

Nice campground. Bathrooms were mostly clean but could have been a little better in my opinion. Close access to great hiking in the Sangre de Cristo range.

From Westcliffe, CO, take State Route 69 south 3 mi to the campground sign (County Road 140). Turn right and go 1.8 mi to the stop sign. Continue straight through the stop sign for 2.8 mi until you hit another stop sign (RD 141). Turn left onto RD...
From Westcliffe, CO, take State Route 69 south 3 mi to the campground sign (County Road 140). Turn right and go 1.8 mi to the stop sign. Continue straight through the stop sign for 2.8 mi until you hit another stop sign (RD 141). Turn left onto RD 141 and continue 2.1 mi to campground.
(Note: RD 141 becomes dirt/gravel after 0.4 mi.)

- Campground limits: 8 people per site, with options for 2 tents and 2 vehicles or 1 RV.

- Store food securely to avoid attracting bears; keep food out of sight and remove after use.

- Only certified weed-free hay is allowed at the campground.

- Electric hookups are not provided at this campground.
- Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

- Do not transport firewood; purchase it locally and burn it on-site to protect trees.

- Water available via handpump/spigot; do not connect RV hoses to the system; fill tanks before arrival.
- No dump station available; nearest facility is at a nearby campground not operated by ExplorUS.
