The campground is very nice, quiet. The outhouses are super clean and the hosts are wonderful!
My only complaint is that it's hard to fit tents into lots of the sites.

Stunning campsite, with easy access to two great high country hikes. We stayed in #41, an aspen grove with a river running through it. Probably the nicest campsite I've ever stayed in, with great view of the night sky and wilderness all around. Check in was easy, facilities were clean, and water was tasty and accessible. High recommend.

This is a beautiful spot. The only downside is the bathroom is not labeled properly on the map and it is RIGHT above this campsite and there was a terrible odor - it smelled of some type of cleaning chemicals - anytime anyone would go to the bathroom and open the door. Other than that it is a great spot with a nice empty meadow next to it and a path down to a teepee. The camp hosts were very nice and accommodating!

FYI this site is very small and the only good spot for a tent was at the top of the driveway which is at an upward slope.

From Westcliffe, CO, take State Route 69 south 3 mi to the campground sign (County Road 140). Turn right and go 1.8 mi to the stop sign. Continue straight through the stop sign for 2.8 mi until you hit another stop sign (RD 141). Turn left onto RD...
From Westcliffe, CO, take State Route 69 south 3 mi to the campground sign (County Road 140). Turn right and go 1.8 mi to the stop sign. Continue straight through the stop sign for 2.8 mi until you hit another stop sign (RD 141). Turn left onto RD 141 and continue 2.1 mi to campground.
(Note: RD 141 becomes dirt/gravel after 0.4 mi.)

- Electric hookups are not provided at this campground.
- Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
