Absolutely beautiful campground! Loved the views and great campsites. The only thing we could complain about are campers who don’t think they have to follow the rules. There is a leash law in all the campgrounds yet some people don’t think they need leash their dog while in their campsite or while walking around the campground. It’s a terrible example to set for your kids. There are rules for a reason and we all need to be respectful of others and realize the rules apply to all of us. Also it puts the camp hosts in a position to police and they shouldn’t be expected to do that. The camp hosts were great!

What a gem of place! Beautiful, restful, with plenty to do, even if you are not a 14er hiker! I always love to see places that are Kid Friendly, encouraging families to come and hang out. With lots of local space to explore, this place fits the bill. Friendly but not invasive camp host made me feel welcome.

Our camp hosts, Terry and Paula helped make for a fantastic stay. They went out of their way to provide help, have great conversations and even showed us their latest grandson. The camp was clean and bathrooms kept very nice. We hope to return soon!

From Westcliffe, CO, take State Route 69 south 3 mi to the campground sign (County Road 140). Turn right and go 1.8 mi to the stop sign. Continue straight through the stop sign for 2.8 mi until you hit another stop sign (RD 141). Turn left onto RD...
From Westcliffe, CO, take State Route 69 south 3 mi to the campground sign (County Road 140). Turn right and go 1.8 mi to the stop sign. Continue straight through the stop sign for 2.8 mi until you hit another stop sign (RD 141). Turn left onto RD 141 and continue 2.1 mi to campground.
(Note: RD 141 becomes dirt/gravel after 0.4 mi.)

- Campground limits: 8 people per site, with options for 2 tents and 2 vehicles or 1 RV.

- Only certified weed-free hay is allowed at the campground.

- Electric hookups are not provided at this campground.
- Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
