Camp hosts were wonderful! I enjoyed being away from the city. Lots of road/trails to explore!

Great place to stay - Great trail to walk around the lake but watch for the gnomes (LOL) - one of the host set some along the trail. They have a beach if you like to swim with the gators. They do have gators. the restroom and showers are dated but the host keep them clean. The only thing to beware of is the road into the campground from the main road - lots of pot holes and hunters during hunter season who like to use the road since they can hunt from the road (they use dogs to bring the game to them) - Other wise a great place to stay and we will keep this one in our list to use again. All sites are pretty level or semi level and about half have electric/water and the other do not.

The road going into the camp is very rough and needs some work. I am now just noticing all these hidden charges in my bill. I stayed two nights! They charged $48! They charge $10 per day for electric! They charge an $8 bogus fee regardless of how long you stay. When you are booking, you don't notice all the hidden fees. Surprise! And the camp hosts manning the place are volunteers. Our government profiting off of our national parks. What a shame.

Clean campground. Plenty of room to set up. Bathroom was clean. It was worth the money for a one night stay. No more, no less.

Nice campground. Bathrooms clean & maintained. Nice trail around lake, plus Florida Trail runs behind campground. Beach at lake has nice facilities also. Nice sand at beach. Volunteer hosts pleasant and helpful.

What a little gem! Such a peaceful place. Stayed five nights tent camping during Thanksgiving. It was really quiet until gun season started on Thanksgiving Day, but that comes with sharing the woods I guess.
One stall for toilet and one stall for a shower (separate for men and women). Campground hosts were really friendly and kept everything clean! We will definitely return!
