What Guests Are Saying
Burns Lake Campground offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment, ideal for nature enthusiasts seeking tranquility and dark skies for stargazing. The campground features spacious, primitive tent sites with lovely views of the lake and access to wildlife and hiking trails. While some visitors noted minor issues, such as noise from nearby campers and basic facilities, the friendly camp host and overall serene atmosphere contribute to a positive camping experience.

Quiet, away from the major road, off grid, clean, friendly camp host and volunteer staff.

Gorgeous campsite. At night we could hear a couple of barred owls and some night herons. The restrooms were decent and were not smelly. Went with my family during the meteor shower. It was an amazing experience. We will definitely return!

Nice clean campground a ways back off the main road which was perfect. Super quiet and also great for some dark sky photography if you’re on the primitive side of the campground. If you’re looking to unplug it’s perfect!

Lovely, quiet place with terrific hosts, Mark and Nancy and a great co-host in Brent. Convenient to Shark Valley and other spots. Loved it.

Burns Lake is a beautiful, off-the-grid camping spot. It's close to some awesome kayaking areas. The mosquitoes can be pretty killer...
