What Guests Are Saying
Burns Lake Campground offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment, ideal for nature enthusiasts seeking tranquility and dark skies for stargazing. The campground features spacious, primitive tent sites with lovely views of the lake and access to wildlife and hiking trails. While some visitors noted minor issues, such as noise from nearby campers and basic facilities, the friendly camp host and overall serene atmosphere contribute to a positive camping experience.

Very happy with my stay at Burns Lake. Used as a base camp for 4 days of Everglades adventures. Camp hosts were attentive and kept things orderly. Will go again.

A very nice out of the way campground. Water is extremely clear as it is in the Everglades. Camp Host was excellent. Campground was a little louder than expected, however it was New Years Eve.. So I accepted that. Otherwise. I will absolutely return.
I would appreciate better cell reception however, I am a full time RVer and require it for work.

This was wonderful!! The campsite was so peaceful. The nature was so beautiful. We didn’t see any gators but we for sure heard them! Only advice would be to bring wood. There is a lot of things you can do around the area as well.

Ground was a little soggy, but we did have heavy rains a few days before, so just be aware of the weather before you arrive. Mosquitos were VERY active, and even more so at dusk, so be aware of them when planning, and deciding what time of year to visit.
Toilets were clean, no smell. Good sized fire ring. Picnic table in good condition and large sized.
The host (person supervising the park) was great. Very friendly and helpful.
Park was mostly quiet at night, only had my neighbour at the plot next to me arrive at 1am to a bit of a racquet, but that died down soon enough. Other than that, VERY quiet.

This was my favorite campground during our South Florida van camping/fishing adventure. Super easy access and set up for our camper van. Quiet, clean campground with plenty of space between each site.
