Host that checked us in did a thorough job of advising us of the rules regarding our stay. During our stay we were impressed with his on duty vigilance in controlling prohibited traffic in to the park. We also noticed his daily walk thru the park picking up trash.

beautiful spot. Just wish there were showers. There were no signs about where to get fresh water.
Friendly and helpful staff

Nice and quiet place even the street is next to the Campground. We stayed only one night. Next time we would go for a longer stay.

It is a nice little campground in the Everglades - very close to the Oasis visitor center. Not much to do at the campground though - there is a little lake in the center with campsites all around. There was no electricity or water when we got there although it was restored later in the evening, thankfully. It was nice and quiet, although very close to US41, road noises were barely audible from inside the vehicle. Every site has its own firepit and picnic bench, and ample space for a decent size RV. Lots of bugs as expected. The bathroom was decently clean - there is no shower though. All in all a pretty decent place to spend a night or two - but not much more than that.

Midway Campground offers a serene and picturesque camping experience. The well-maintained area, clean restrooms, and spacious campsites create a comfortable environment. The proximity to hiking trails and natural attractions enhances the overall appeal for nature enthusiasts. We enjoyed the Ochopee Visitor Center, the Kirby Storter and the HP William viewing area.
