What Guests Are Saying
Midway Campground offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment with clean facilities and friendly hosts, making it an ideal stop for exploring the Everglades and Big Cypress areas. Campers appreciate the privacy of the spacious sites, easy access to hiking trails, and the campground's cleanliness. However, there are some limitations, including a lack of showers and minimal cell service, as well as a need for better signage to ensure safety and compliance with campground rules.

Excellent site. We are in a 40 MH, with a full wall slide on the driver's side, we had to hug the passenger side because of a lower limb, but it wasn't an issue.

Midway campground is the only campground with electricity in BC Preserve. We had an issue with 50 amp service, but the staff addressed this promptly. Sites are large with asphalt sites and road. Sewer dump and potable water at entrance/exit of campground. Hosts were pleasant!
Near Everglades National Park. Lots of things to see and do within an hour drive.

The campsite was very well maintained, the sites were spaced out well, and the bathrooms were clean, BUT the campsites are very close to US41 so constant noise from cars should be expected. It looks like the burns campground was further from the highway.

Absolutely cleanest campground! 50amp service was available even though the reservation stated only 30amp…which was a huge surprise. Quiet & peaceful with great star gazing. Will definitely be back!
