We stayed here 2 nights in January. The weather was lovely with a breeze blowing which helped us not need to run our generator much. However, our next door neighbor ran his for 12 hrs each day which was a little annoying. There was an alligator in the lake, beautiful sunsets and clean bathhouse, although only with one shower. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Sites are grassy. Just across from the campground is a gravel road that is a "scenic loop". It's quite long but we took it and there were many alligators and birds on the far other end of it. Otherwise it wasn't very scenic. It's 30 minutes to Shark Valley where we did the bikeride to the observation tower which was really cool. If it's windy, I would advise not doing the bike ride - take the tram!

Lucky to get some last minute reservations. Loved this little park. Shady spaces with beautiful view of small “lake”. Watched the gator sunning each day. Do NOT walk your pet near the waters edge. Hosts were informative, polite and friendly. Trip into Everglades city for dinner was delightful. Highly recommend

Sunset and sunrises are amazing. The Camp Hosts are on the ball. They are always working. Clean bathrooms and the shower was hot and clean. Both Hosts were always available for questions and suggestions. We will go back.

It’s a very basic campground but picturesque and convenient is you need a spot in that area. They have quiet hours after 10p so if it is really hot it might be a problem since you can’t run your generator at night to power your A/C
