Nice campground, level sites, picnic tables and fire rings. Bath house clean with nice shower. I liked the outside sink to do dishes. The days I was there were calm and warm, nice sunsets and sunrises. The nights were dark enough to view the stars.

Loved our stay at Monument Lake! It was so peaceful and quiet and the campground hosts were super friendly!
Great sunsets, nice people, good showers (and cell service) and a few gators hanging out too (at a distance, of course). Also, there is a dump station just a few minutes up the road, so don’t let the no-hookup situation scare you! Would love to stay here again.

I had a great stay at Monument Lake! The host were great and the sites were clean. There is now water and showers available which is great! I plan on going back as soon as possible.

Good sites well situated to explore both Big Cypress and Fakahatchee Strand. Good clean bathrooms.

This is a great campground! Nice level, shady mixed with sun site. Very friendly and helpful campground hosts. I would highly recommend this location.

We camped at site#1, which was very spacious. When we arrived, there was a gator sunning beside the lake, which was very disconcerting, but he kept to himself and chose other spots a little further away for the remainder of our trip. Our site was also excellent for afternoon stage on the awning side. We chose Buffalo Tiger airboat tours and were not disappointed. Visit all of the visitor centers and waypoints in Big Cypress for some great views! Our camp host was very helpful and informative, letting us know where to go and to go to Midway campground if we needed to dump and take on fresh water.

Loved staying at Monument Lake. The sunset on the lake was beautiful. Enjoyed watching the alligators. The shower was an added bonus.
