This is a great little stop. Campsites are a good size so that you are not right on top of your neighborhood. Well maintained. Easy in and out.

Beautiful setting, great at sunrise and sunset. Tent sites are pretty close together but other than that it's great.

Nice little lake in the everglades on the way to either coast. Right next to a cell tower so you can make a reservation last minute.

It is a nice convenient spot in the Everglades. The camp host was friendly. Unfortunately I had a difficult night as the mosquitoes came out at dusk and were horrible all night long. However, I had to sleep in my car which was hot so I cracked the windows, so I'm sure they kept getting in. And I'm pretty tolerant in general but didn't expect this as there were none or few out in the daytime and evenings.

This is a great camping area in the heart of the Big Cypress National Preserve. There are no electric or water hookups, shower, they do have a hot shower/bathroom area and they also have fresh water available by the bathroom if you need to fill your camper's tank. While staying on campsite #23, when saw a massive Black Bear.
