This is a great place to stay! Nice small lake, very clean and open, not crowded! The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The grounds & bathrooms are very nicely maintained. The hosts were pleasant & helpful.
However, my experience was ruined by being sandwiched between two 40' + RVs that ran their generators from 8am to 10pm. Requiring earphones with the sounds of nature to enjoy sitting outside looking at the lake EXCEPT for the exhaust spewing from the RV on my right. The weather in February is very pleasant requiring heat not a/c so why? One gentleman said they like to run their fan,. When 'boondocking' we all require generator use from time to time to charge our batteries, even with solar, but this was excessive. Many parks have adapted a revision to their quiet hours to include a limit on generators. For example generators allowed from 8am to 10am and again at 8pm to 10pm. It would certainly improve the outdoor experience. thanks

Campground is great. The camp host was very friendly and offered a lot of information and advice. When I arrived the campers in the spot next to mine had overtaken my entire area as well. I drive over to the camp host and, he spoke with the campers and resolved the issue in a super diplomatic manner. All was well after. I really liked how quiet the campgrounds became after 8PM. Learning they had just installed hot showers in the bathroom building was a pleasant surprise as well! Can't wait to return!

The park host was welcoming and helpful with great tips for where to get things locally. Showers are warm, and early in the morning you can spot some alligators in the lake! :)

We were greeted by the volunteer host. He was very friendly and helpful. We had no issues with our site which looked out on beautiful Monument Lake. We saw alligators.

Great check in with very friendly camp hosts. Good spot away from people. VERY nice hot showers! Lots of gators and a beautiful sunset. Quiet campground. Would definitely stay again
