Monument Lake Campground

Monument Lake was a great campground. The hosts were amazing and helpful, the site was large and had great views, centrally located to the major trails and attractions, and the stargazing was incredible.

Great campground! Stars are amazing! Bathrooms are really clean! Nice hosts! Some of the RV campers were pretty loud during quiet hours, but that’s the risk you run with camping in general.

Our next door neighbor, a couple, was tenting. They were homeless and using this campground in 2 week intervals. On the site they had a large panel truck and a car as well as a very large tent - taking up every inch of the campsite. All of their stuff was left out side and spread everywhere. Conduct like this ruins the atmosphere of a National Preserve campground.

I stayed in a tent. A simple campground setup, a nice lake to view, with a resident alligator. Bathrooms and shower were really nice. Easy access to main road. Would definitely stay again.

Came here with my bf and had a nice time they had very clean bathrooms and hot showers which wasn't listed so that was a plus . Woke up looked out at the lake and seen 2 gators so that was nice. It was very quiet . We can't wait to take the kids .

Great camp ground host. Nice clean bathrooms. Contractor that put the shower floor in did a terrible job with the drainage.

I arrived to monument lake and found the site I reserved already occupied. Walter and his wife told me I had to deal with person if I wanted them to move.

The facilities were nice and clean, but the camp host is old and spineless. Both Walter and his wife made my experience terrible.
