I've been primitive camping at Juniper Springs for over 50 years, and I am never disappointed in the fact that it is still "The Real Florida" that I grew up in. Thank you for protecting its natural beauty, especially the RUN!

Whoever is running the park is either not receiving enough funding or just not doing a good job. Probably the former. Large areas of the park are shut down in disrepair. The price for admission is too high with these facilities being closed (boardwalk).

My 2 year old son and I had a lovely time here. The trails were plentiful, the springs were beautiful, and the campsites were all very well kept! We would come back again for sure.

While some commented about site 7 being in a noisy area do too it's proximity to the bathroom/shower , I would say if this is your first time camping , especially with kids , you might consider it as ideal. I really did not have issue with any excessive noise , with the exception of the trailer that needed the AC running all day in 70 " weather , not turning the generator off until campsite rules forced them too but other than that it was peaceful and Its only a short walk to the spring as well

Such a beautiful place to camp! Bathrooms were very clean, and showers were hot. The bear lockers were very convenient so I didn't have to keep shuffling things around in my car. My camp site was HUGE. The day I checked out it was a little chilly but still decided to take a dip in the springs. We even saw a yellow belly turtle. Ice and firewood was available at the ranger station which was convenient. I will definitely stay again.
