Very peaceful and quiet. I loved the view of the lake from my site. Very clean and well maintained. A little off the beaten path but worth the stop.

By far the best camp sites around the lake IMO. Staff and park are the best. Thanks for everything Tina. Your help was much appreciated.

Overall nice. We had a pull through that we couldn't pull through because of the tight areas with trees. However, with a smaller trailer, it would have been fine.

The only drawback was the low water, however that increased the beach size!
Personnel are wonderful and very engaging!

probably the largest, spaced out camping sights available. For the most part you are separated from other campers and it looks like MOST if not all of the sights have access to the lake. Clean, maintained and the Volunteer staff was friendly and helpful. My sight was still occupied on my arrival and they did all they could to get it vacated so I could enjoy my stay. SUGAR ANTS ARE EVERYWHERE SO BE PREPARED TO FIGHT THE FIGHT. I used ant killer on ground points of contact around my rig and it seemed to help a little bit.
I enjoy this ACOE campground

We arrived just after 3:30 pm on Saturday- was greeted at the gate. Drove to our site (lot 50) pulled in and parked- easy access, full hook up- it was great! Dynamic sunsets- great beach- well kept and clean. The dump station was easy to get to and clean. This was our maiden voyage and it was extraordinary!
