The sites are very large and a good distance from each other. We had a gorgeous view of the lake. Will definitely camp there again. The only bad thing are the ladies showers which have slow drainage and cause deep water backups…..not good!

I love Georgia State Parks but Ridge Road is not going to be on my favorite list. We did arrive after many days of heavy rain which made everything in the campground a wet mess. Our site was flooded with water making it impossible to set up. We asked for a different site and we were given higher ground level site and all was . The next day we were out all day but when returned late afternoon we were told we had to move back to our original site because we were in an emergency site and couldn’t stay there. We looked at the original sit and it was muddy and not very level. We elected to leave the next day because crawling around in mud in our 70’s to put down leveling ramps did not appeal to us. Staff was very nice and the park and lake is beautiful. We just had a bad experience thus 3 stars.

As always, Ridge Road Campground was an excellent experience. The ground improvements should provide campers with an even better facility. We are grateful for the staff at Ridge Road Campground.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ridge Road with our grandchildren. We loved site 4. It was actually a double and we had plenty of room. We fished and kayaked, had campfires and smores. We saw deer, turtles, birds and loved being outdoors. The site was easy access with our 31 ft. trailer camper. We hope to return soon.

Ridge Rd Campground is our go too campground. The hosts are super friendly and it's always clean and quiet. Also, convenient to the DG if you forget something.

Great site clean, bathhouse could use a fan to pull out some of the heat.
