My husband and I agree - this was the most wonderful camp site we've ever had. A shady, large, clean, flat site with a charcoal grill, cooktop table, fire pit and a picnic table. The best part, was the little path leading to our own little private beach on the lake. The campground was clean and quiet, the sites were a good distance apart (not jammed together like many commercial campgrounds). The campground had a nice paved road that I took advantage of for a run one morning. I really wished we had more time to spend here, it was truly enjoyable.

Staff is very friendly and eager to help. I enjoy all the campsites but do not like the clay water on the side where sites 6-29 are.

Campsite fine. Water completely muddy. Hardly able to walk in the water secondary to being mired down in mud. Bathhouse ok on cleanliness but needs updating. People at checkin rude. Took my pass away a day early because I was putting up my camper even though I paid for Sunday night and should have access until Monday check out. Beach access same muddy mess. Neighbors had their dogs fighting the entire time and people parking blocking the shared drive, but it was obvious they were buddies with the host campers so the rules didn’t apply. They were quick to report my parents to the host camper for pulling up their pontoon temporarily and “not being on our section of the beach” meanwhile there was plenty of coastline/beach for them. Extremely rude to my daughter about it rather than coming to see the adults about an issue. Had to stay at ridge road because we couldn’t find anywhere else with it being July 4th weekend, but don’t worry we won’t be back.
