As always, Ridge Road Campground is a wonderful place to camp. Sites are pretty uniformly excellent and waterfront, maintenance is terrific, we appreciate the cleanliness of the bathroom facilities. So kudos to a dedicated staff working hard to make sure all is ready for guests.

site needs work. rain comes and site is mired in mud and does not dry out even in this 98 degree weather of 8 days.

Ridge Road is a favorite. Always clean and spacious. Huge warning, though- I noticed some immature vines of Kudzu beginning to run. Never seen that before at Ridge Road. Treatment will is a must or in a year you won't be able to see that lake from the campsites.
Otherwise it's the best.

Always fun spending time at this campground. The camp hosts are friendly and the facilities usually clean and well maintained. However, there is a "new rule" put in place by the area supervisor forcing the main gate to be padlocked with a key at 10pm and would not be opened until 7am with zero exceptions. In previous years the campground has been locked overnight, but campers were given the code to unlock the gate, should they need to leave while the gate is locked. This new policy almost ruined our striper fishing because we have to get live bait and be on the water well before the gate opens. FUTURE CAMPERS or anyone considering camping at this location and who wants to fish with live bait early in the morning take notice, you will have to leave a vehicle outside of the gate overnight so you can get bait.

Our absolute favorite place to camp is ridge Rd campground. Always so clean and sooooo much fun . We spend so much time during the season here and we will not camp any where else we bring the whole family to enjoy the weekend at ridge Rd. My 6 year old sons favorite is fishing and swimming and cooking on the campfire 🔥 and of course seeing all the wildlife around . Overall I would recommend ridge Rd campground to everyone who enjoys camping and being outdoors. Thank y'all so much for the best summer memories
