I wish every campground was laid out similarly! SO many sites that offer a great view, and there is so much room at each site.

Unfortunately, the ants just aren't worth it. We were there for ONE NIGHT more than a week ago, and are still battling our ant infestation in our 43 foot motorhome. They marched their happy little butts up the water hose and established a new, bustling metropolis in our RV.

Without the ants, I would have given it 5 stars.

I would rather camp at Winfield before Petersburg. Y’all should at least leave Winfield open till end of December. It’s a lot of times I was not able to go camping due to all other campgrounds booked.I’m not the only person that has this issue.
Please keep Winfield open year around or at least till December.thanks

Amazing!!

Very nice spacious camp sites, but some sites could use a little more gravel in places that were muddy. The people were very nice and most helpful.

We have been coming to Winfield every month for years. It’s also peaceful and quite and clean. Nannette and Tonya are also amazing. Love to see there smiling faces every month

The host was very helpful and friendly. The park was very well maintained and extremely clean. We were there beginning of the week and it was very quiet. We will definitely be coming back again in the future.

Stunning lakefront campsites with woods dividing most sites making them more private. The campground hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. There is a Publix about 20 minute drive away in Evans outskirts of Augusta. I will continue to return to this campground.
