We love Sweetwater Campground! It is close to home and such a nice get away for us! Our last visit was at site 43 … right on the waters of Lake Allatoona. This is one of the ideal sites if you have a small boat because you can anchor right at the site. The campground is a nice area to walk around the campground for exercise. The beach area is nice and relaxing. We highly recommend Sweetwater Campground for camping.

Campground is always well taken care of. The grass is freshly cut. Access to the lake from the campsite could have been a little better. We had to go to the site next to us to access the lake.

Checking in was a breeze. There were no signs for which turn to take to get to beach or playground. Water at beach area was clean. There was a large shallow space before it got deep, great for the kids. Campsite was easy to find level enough it didn’t take much to get set up. The site was spacious and roomy. Some spills were left behind from previous guest so we were met with many, many flies and yellow jackets.

We love camping at Sweetwater campground. It is a beautiful campground, but, I have noticed latly that people just don't care about it like they should. I rode thru the campground and noticed a lot of trash left in the firepits as well as on the ground. The grass is not maintained as well as it has been in the past. And the bath houses aren't cleaned as often as they should be.

You will drive through a neighborhood to reach this campground. Please be mindful of the narrow, busy road. Once there, hosts were great, provided useful info on getting into the site and were cordial throughout our visit.

The attendants Bill and Linda are wonderful. Very courteous and helpful. However, our site was not mowed or cleaned prior to our arrival. I had to physically get my weed eater from home and clean our space. It appears only the common areas were cleaned.

Long grass. Ants all around my camper. Only one hose to wash out tanks when dumping and you expect all those campers to be out by 11 with 1 dump station working. This was my last chance for Sweetwater to keep my business. You let me down. Been camping there for 30 years and I am finally done.
