Both sets of hosts at the house have been excellent once again. There was a period when those that take care of the grounds were told to cut back which made the campground look a little unkempt. But one of the campers went home and brought his mower in and cut most of the grace. The core maintenance finally came in and finished the job. Hopefully, the core will find the funding next year because this is probably the best on Lake Lanier.

Bald Ridge Creek is the best campground on Lake Lanier. Great sites and so clean.

Bald Ridge is a great campground but in the last couple of months it has gone down because they don’t regularly cut the grass, don’t clean the sites between customers and don’t clean bathrooms daily. Not sure what has happened with COE sites.

Our stay was very enjoyable. What a great campground. It would have been nice if the grill and firepit had been cleaned out from the previous campers. Also the driveway had allot of pine straw, mud and gravel of which I cleaned up. This was my first trip to Bald Ridge. I will come back. I come here to see my Daughter and my first Grand Son because they do not have enough room in their house. I only have a few days and I wish they could stay later than 9:30 since the gate does not close until 10:30. I only get to see them once or twice a year. I would be more often if you did not close for the Winter.

The Host are great and inviting this year, the campground is amazing setting and just the right size. The comfort stations need to be replaced and due to budget cuts the grass isn’t being cut and the sites aren’t cleaned for the next guest so the park is looking a little ruff. They need to either let the counties or state run the campgrounds or maybe use volunteer host to keep up with the campground duties like most campgrounds do.

We love camping at Bald Ridge Campground. Tons of sites are on the water which is great for our boat. The facilities are clean and 2 of the 3 had laundry machines if you need a few extra things late in your stay. It sits on a nice cove for skiing and is off the main part of the lake so the water never gets really rough from wind or boat traffic. It is a very quiet campground too. Not a lot of boat noise, no trains, folks seem to be very respectful of keeping it fairly quiet. Also a very flat campground so our grandkids love to ride their bikes all over the campground. Good boat ramp, but parking is a few minutes walk down the road.
