Doll Mountain campground is good if you want to go boating or just hang out in the woods. To get to the beach you have to drive about 15 minutes. There are no hiking trails within walking distance of the campground. There is a boat ramp. The camp sites are large and the bathrooms well maintained with plenty of hot water.

Our only complaint was that there seemed to be a slow water leak coming up from underground below spicket. Always had a puddle of water.

Usually a very great place to camp. This time there was a ‘tent city’ in the upper part of the campground; they had loose dogs running around, they were using the trees as a bathroom, and had a yelling and cursing domestic squabble at the bathhouse. Not a very comfortable experience.

What a great clean and private camp ground. I just wish it wasn’t so high up from the water.

Great campsites, been going there 2-3 times a year for years.
My only complaint is that the campground was not mowed/groomed to its usual standards.

Doll Mountain is a pretty campground. the camp sites are very close to each other and our neighbors were up all night and kept us up all night. the campgrounds are clean, the bathrooms are clean, i do wish it had direct access to the lake.

The park was clean the lake was huge and clear shaff was friendly and helpful . The curfew hrs though prevent you from enjoying the surrounding areas . I can understand the need for safety bit maybe the shack should be manned till midnight
