Doll Mountain Campground is highly praised for its spacious, well-maintained sites and beautiful natural surroundings, including views of Carters Lake. Doll Mountain Campground was worth the stop. The sites had nice views of the lake and were well equipped (electric, water, decks). The campground has a boat ramp, was rather quiet at night, and had helpful and friendly hosts. Unfortunately, there was little hiking in the campground, and the gate hours were a bit restrictive (9am-9pm). We will be back, as this campground is what we are looking for when we are in the area.

DOLL MTN IS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE PLACES TO GO......JUST WISH YOU WERE OPEN YEAR ROUND. WE DON'T CAMP A LOT THROUGH THE SUMMER WHEN IT'S HOT.
IT'S ALWAYS CLEAN, FRIENDLY STAFF, GROUNDS KEEPERS (NOT SURE WHAT THEY'RE CALLED) KEEP IT EXTREMELY CLEAN. THEY SHOULD DEFINITELY BE THANKED.
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK FOR A GREAT CAMPGROUND!!!

The campground was nice as always. The weather cooler than normal made it great for walking.

Tent camping at site 38 was perfect. We had plenty of space, it's right by the bathrooms and the view is unmatched. We enjoyed fishing along the bank, hiking and the quiet sounds of nature. Perfect for a long weekend. The rangers were kind and very accommodating. Highly recommend this camping location.

We have made Doll Mountain our go to CG as we love the sites & attention to cleanliness of all facilities. Always have had gr8t gate keepers who are friendly and helpful. Plus the ability to go to the lake @ Harris Branch is a plus. Our only wish would be and hopefully you take notice of this wish as many there have also said it is the only thing missing would be if you had a "DOG RUN FENCED IN FOR OUR FOUR LEGGED FRIENDS" then this would be the ultimate CG for so many more! There is an area next to the bathrooms @ entrance to sites 1-12 behind the play area for kids. Our goldendoodle often asks why do the hoooomans get a playground but we don't!!! Can you tell him because we ran out of stories to make up! Thank you very much!

Beautiful campground wonderful shade trees. Beautiful views. This is on a ridge so campsites are not down on the lake. The area offers a lot. Ellijay itβs a nice short drive and a fun little town. Campground host could not have been nicer.

Would be nice if there were more man made trails from campsites to the lake.
