No entry to the campground after late hours keeps it quiet at night. Will come back again.

We had problems with 2 pets (dogs) allowing to roam campground freely. There were several children on the site without any adult supervision, and they tried there best to herd dogs back to their site. The last night we were there, a Catahoulla Leopard Dog charged out of a camper and attached our dog. She resisted the attach, as I am sure she was putting her life on the line for us. I felt very threatened by the attached. Our dog required stitches and staples and a vet bill of over $1,000. I find this totally unacceptable on the COE's part, as the first instance of the roaming dogs was reported several times to the campground attendants and the ranger did not investigate. It took our reporting to the resource manager's office the day we checked out. Still not sure if they visited the campground. We will be hesitate to book any more trips to a COE campground in the future.

Loved the beauty! It feels like you're deep in the forest with a view of the clear water lake. The beach area is sufficient and the bath house is clean. Lots of great hiking.
