First time Campers from Florida, what a beautiful experience at Duckett Mills, The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant, grounds were impeccable, views at campsite were phenomenal and caught lots of fish at our campsite(we released them all.)😊 We had an emergency, (my boyfriend ended up having 2 stints put in on our 9th day there). Our lot was reserved the day we were to go home, but had to extend our stay for another week. The staff and Henry from the Main office were so accommodating. They found a vacant lot we could move to onsite, offered to help me move our camper to a new location, while my boyfriend was recouping in the hospital. Also, the staff found 2 campers that offered to help me move. Now that’s is going above and beyond true Customer Service. Accolades to everyone involved at Duckett Mill Campground in Gainesville, Ga.👏👏

We are going here every year. The distance between the sites is great and full of trees so that one feels really alone.
Only disadvantage is that one cannot reach the lake from most sites. Hence just walking into the lake is not an option.
