With all the rain some of the branches from the trees hit our camper as we where leaving. Other then that we had a great time. Site was big and private. Do recommend staying here if your in the area, the lake is beautiful. We stayed for a week in our 43’ fifth wheel toy hauler

Beautiful campground, there is literally no bad site with all sites having a beautiful view of the lake. We felt safe while camping the two nights we were there. My daughter got an early morning run in on the beautiful grounds. Nice to see the deer in the early mornings and late evenings. No waiting for a dump facility since they have two on location. I would definitely stay at this campground again.

NO matter the site...we have a great time. I kinda wish there was a playground, but we had a lot of fun without one!

We absolutely LOVE Duckett Mills! It’s one of the best campgrounds in this part of the country. We also really appreciated the availability of ice and firewood at the gate.

I've been camping here since 2010 and a couple times my truck tires were on the dirt, both times a ranger beat on the camper door and read me the riot act. Now I camp there every other week and vehicles on the dirt are common place. Have the rules changed?

Well first of all, the camp ground was on so much of an incline that I bent my jacks trying to back straight into the spot. Evidently the camper before had done the same thing because there were scrape marks all over the concrete. The campsite that I had didn’t have much of a view like it looked in the internet and there were big trees laying in the water right in front of my camper so you couldn’t swim on my side. You had to walk on down in front of other campers to enjoy the water. I had business to tend to early that morning so I got up around 4:30 to find out that the gate doesn’t open until 7:00am and there is no way to get in or out of the camp ground AT ALL from 10:30pm-7:00am. As stated on the internet but I figured they would have an electronic gate of some sort for emergencies. The roads were nice and the bathrooms were nice. The concrete campsite was full of thick sand and dirt so there was a lot get tracked into the camper if not careful. Overall a bad place to stay in my opinion.

This campground offers both close quarters and isolated sites, all within easy distance of the lake. Insect pests are not much of a problem, if you practice sensible food and site management. Dual dump station speeds up the departure process.

The site was clean with a great view. We had an issue with a dog barking all day and most of the night 2 sites over. We told the camp host who said they would notify the ranger. Later that day the site with the dog and 2 the other 2 site they were with walked and drove by us seemingly trying to intimidate us for reporting the issue. They even went as far as having their dog bark until they left. Yes we told the host what site we were in so I don't know if that was shared with the dog site. Other than that it was fine.
