Campground was very clean and lots of larger spots with nice lake views. Great place for camping on Lake Lanier. One negative thing is that they don't have a lot of bathhouses, so plan accordingly when picking your spot if you plan to use the bathhouses

We have camped here many times in the past and it was very pleasant but this time we were told that we could not have our dogs on the grass??? I will not be back this year as I am sure it was just the current camp host. We will return next year if there are new camp host only.

2 sets of couples running the the office check in booth ...One was very nice and helpful and the other the woman was straight out of Nazi Germany and made my check in a absolute nightmare ...dates were from 7-23 thru 7-26 !! Had some nice nieghbor campers ...I'm on the fence about ever camping there again though !!

on Georgia Highway 306, turn right on Georgia Highway 53, turn right on Duckett Mill road. Follow Duckett Mill Road into the campground.

Due to COVID-19, camper registration will take place through the gatehouse window. Upon arrival to the campground, please have your ID, license plate number, camping unit’s license plate number, site number, and discount pass (if applicable) ready to give the Park Attendant. Please approach the gatehouse slowly and bring your vehicle close to the window. At no point should you park and walk to the gatehouse window. Do not attempt to enter the gatehouse. |

LENGTH OF STAY for campers is no longer than 14 days during any 30 consecutive day period for any USACE campground on Lake Lanier (Ex. Cannot stay at Bolding Mill Campground 14 days with another reservation immediately following at another USACE operated campground on Lake Lanier). Consecutive reservations under different names that exceed 14 days are not authorized and are subject to eviction and/or the issuance of a citation in accordance with Title 36 CFR 327.7 (b). |
