This was the first time we camped at Duckett Mill, we absolutely loved it! The campgrounds are beautiful and spacious. We were camping during the week and it was quite and the weather was very nice except for Ida coming threw on one day. We will plan on a return visit soon.

Why do you close this campground for the winter? Best campground in the area!

check in is a joke. hard to process information from a mh window---especially when there is no reason. Also when entering the park after check in long wait times were experienced because of the one lane. Have never had this experience at a Corps campground. Must have a new noncamping ranger. nuff said---these never get read anyway.

Camp hosts were wonderful. Our spot was clean and easy to access. We enjoyed some time at the beach and swimming area. Beach could use a sweep/rack to clean up sticks and stuff that have washed up but it was enjoyable.
