We stayed here at site 8, just across the creek ford. Very nice and scenic campground, but a word of warning concerning rain-Site 8 WILL flood with rivers through the campsite during heavy rain so if you're in a tent, be ready . Even with the drainage issue, it still gets a five-star rating as does the rest of the campground.

From Helen, Georgia go North on Hwy 75 North, turn left on 75 Alt cross the bridge, and make the immediate right turn onto Poplar Stump/Upper Chattahoochee River Road. Continue on this road for approximately 4.5 miles and the campground is straight ahead.
Low Gap Campground is accessible via Highway 75 North and Highway 75 Alternate, which are the main routes from Helen, Georgia.
