Tent pads need some updating. They are level with the ground and no gravel. Set yourself up well for rain. We love the campground but were totally flooded with a rain storm.

Hunters coming in before 6:00 am and waking everyone up being loud,cocking their rifles and scaring the women and kids. Not enough or early enough patrolling.

We had several neighbors from our neighborhood camp ant low gap and our campsite was perfect and we all had a blast. Great place to take the family to go camping!

From Helen, Georgia go North on Hwy 75 North, turn left on 75 Alt cross the bridge, and make the immediate right turn onto Poplar Stump/Upper Chattahoochee River Road. Continue on this road for approximately 4.5 miles and the campground is straight ahead.
Low Gap Campground is accessible via Highway 75 North and Highway 75 Alternate, which are the main routes from Helen, Georgia.
