It was nice to be on the beautiful creek but narrow access and poorly cared for. A lot of junky yards around host site and overhanging limbs to scratch camper.

Decent privacy. Nice restrooms. Great swimming area close drive from campground. Walk from campground to waterfall hikes.

Nice primitive place to camp. Narrow roads are in need of repair, sites are quite, and trails are galore.

Beautiful area. Google maps has the wrong location. If you follow Google keep going for a few miles past Google's destination.

Place was a ghosttown, which may not be a bad thing. Sites were nice, hard to find level ground though. Seemed like it rains ALOT there, very wet and mossy everywhere. They have SHOWERS, which is a huge plus. Bathrooms were in the middle of each loop, so a good walk for most sites except 20-29. Overall, not bad! Lake Rabun (small beach where it seems EVERYONE goes to) is across the street, which was nice. It’s only a small access point to a hugs lake, has boat ramp too!

Our campsite was really lovely. We were situated right beside a creek which was very relaxing. Our camp host was very nice when we got there and did warn us to be on the lookout for bears as some had been sighted in the campsite. We were close to the bathrooms which were clean although ins of the sinks in the women’s bathroom did not work. It was still a good trip and we would go back again.

I stayed in loop 1 (non electric) at site 39, which was a pull through. Wooded area and fairly secluded. Accessing the park from the west may be easier for folks towing a trailer due the the tight curves that has no shoulder and stone walls on one or both sides in some areas.

The spots say they are large enough to fit a camper- the entire campsite is illprepaped for a pull behind. Roads are extremely narrow and multiple sites have no space to back in because they're placed on hills. The campground is not near lake access unless you plan to drive around the thin mountain roads every time you want to fish/swim. The website does a terrible job depicting the campgrounds location, condition, and size.
