They finally removed the curbs that were a trip hazard. I’ve asking for over ten years. A few handicap sites is a nice addition. I’m not sure on the higher fire boxes. We lose a lot of heat on a campfire. From what I saw they lifted the old fire pits so the bottom vent holes are above ground, another nice improvement.

We enjoyed every aspect of the campground's location, including the hikes to the waterfalls, the access to Lake Rabun, and the beautiful stream right next to the campsites. We were sorry about the bear incident while we were there, but the folks working there were very helpful and quick to inform us about the situation. We will definitely return.

The sites were large, wooded and private. We had a babbling brook one two sides of our site. The hiking was excellent with waterfalls as reward. The sandy beach area was small, so kayaking was a good solution to get out on the gorgeous lake. We would definitely stay here again.

I've been camping here for more than 50 years. Some improvements over the years like a new bath house with hot water. Well maintained and very peaceful

No water pressure for Memorial day weekend, when we asked we were told its a 70 year old park and many leaks need repair. When we posted on FIRM we assume is the camp management company the reply was we should have reported it. We obviously did and were told no ideas how long it would take to repair, been that way from opening day.
The site and location were great.

Our site was clean, but the restrooms were further than I anticipated, we were staying in the middle of both, and they weren’t overly clean. One of the faucets in the women’s bathroom was broken. There is only one shower in each bathroom. We loved the trails though and enjoyed going to the lake beach although that area could have been better kept up also.
