The campground host and her precious dogs were amazing!!! (Especially the big guy in the coat) Once I arrived, she offered to help me find a more private site that was still open. She was friendly and spoke to everyone. The campground was clean and secluded. The area was close to hiking trails too

We made reservations for our stay and one for our family member. We consulted the map for spaces that were available for our stay. Don’t do that. The map is incorrect. We had a site that was further away from our families but the camp host worked with us to help rectify that. The stay was very pleasant. This is a wonderful campground. We took advantage of the Angel Falls trail. That was great.

The group campsite wasn’t the most ideal lay out, but that really wasn’t a big issue with us, it was still accommodating. However, the park ranger harassed us on 4 occasions. We go camping all the time with family and have NEVER been bothered by the ranger in all years of experience. He said we were being too loud on the first visit, to which we were respectful and said that we would try to be more quiet (6 adults and 8 kids btw). Then several more visits with him saying the same thing. On his last trip, which was our second and last night, he cussed and yelled proclaiming how loud we were being and demanded we turn our lights off and completely shut all activity down at around 9:30 pm. We were very compliant again dealing with the irate man on the gold cart. Evidently this is a known fact about this camp ground because locals around there spoke very poorly of the manner to which the ranger conducted himself. So as for my family and I, we will never return to such a rude and overbearing camp site, and I would advise anyone else to find alternate accommodations.

Hike to the waterfalls in the area, enjoy the spectacular colors of the trees, just relax on your campsite. We went in early October, not expecting the amazing colors we saw to be on display yet. We went in mid week, so they were not many campers and it was a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The campground host a very helpful. The bathhouse was adequate with hot water and showers. height of bathroom fixtures are not kid friendly. The whole area was very clean and the campsites are nicely maintained. Overall a great experience for a couple with their three year old grandson. Perfect memory.

The camp host was confrontational and abrasive with our interactions and what we observed from other campers interactions close to our campsite. They were not friendly or inviting and left the same day we arrived. No wood. No ice. No games for the kids. That’s disappointing. We have always had a great experience and enjoyed interactions with prior camp hosts. If you are not interested in being friendly maybe don’t host a campground at all.

Wonderful little campground. Great hiking and quiet. Being nestled into the hillside was very cozy.

Road in are not trailer friendly. Roads inside park are in really poor conditions. Loops are short so longer units have to go off road to make the turns. Very few spaces were taken.
Host were outstanding. Treated us like family.
