We had a wonderful experience at Morganton Point Campground. The views of Lake Blue Ridge were absolutely beautiful and made the whole trip feel peaceful and scenic. The restrooms were impressively clean—honestly some of the best-maintained facilities I’ve seen at a campground. Our campsite was also very spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax and enjoy the outdoors without feeling crowded.
Overall, it’s a great spot for anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and scenic place to camp. We’ll definitely be back.

What a nice campsite, after 3 years of trying to get this site we finally did. Pretty level, great access to the Lake from the site. Very peaceful. All the sites down the road are for tent campers. I wish I was younger and could tent camp again. They are also very nice sites, but a bit far from the restroom.

Great site. As-advertised. Close to the bathrooms, but not right next to it. We had a bit of nightly light pollution from the glow of the bathroom lights, but nothing too disturbing. - As other reviews mention, the tent-area portion of the site is *slightly* unleveled. But again, nothing overly disruptive to sleep positions, etc… - Aside from the specific site, the hosts were amazing and accommodating. The campground is very conveniently close to Blue Ridge and just enough off the beaten path. We will certainly plan another trip here soon!

Nice campground. People working here were great. All campsites are not created equal, though. No washer and dryers, and showers that require constant button pushing are inconvenient.
