We were disappointed in the fire rings. They are more like a burn barrel.
It would be wonderful to sit around the fire and actually see it burn!

Delightful small park right on beautiful Lake Blue Ridge. We stayed on the Lower Loop and found everything well maintained and the bathrooms were well maintained and clean. Park staff was friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful time at Morganton Point Campground in Blue Ridge, GA! The campground was in great condition and well-maintained throughout our stay. The bathrooms were impressively clean — one of the best we’ve seen at any campground. The location was beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Good location. Things to note… bathroom is quite a distance away and it’s a walk in site so you do have to carry your stuff a little ways. Also we purchased our firewood from the campground and it was so wet we had a hard time getting it to burn.
Bathrooms are clean and location is close to the town of Blue Ridge and a lot of fun things in north Georgia!

Campers are able to utilize the day use area for free, but if you have a vehicle parked in the day use parking lot then you have to pay the day use fee. You can be dropped off at the day use area and park at your campsite if you like. |
