Good location. Things to note… bathroom is quite a distance away and it’s a walk in site so you do have to carry your stuff a little ways. Also we purchased our firewood from the campground and it was so wet we had a hard time getting it to burn.
Bathrooms are clean and location is close to the town of Blue Ridge and a lot of fun things in north Georgia!

I overpaid and did not receive my reimbursement. This is unprofessional and selfish, when all the other federal campgrounds reimburse my overpayment immediately.

The hosts were friendly and very helpful. Area was kept clean and bathrooms/showers exceptional.
Only negative was our campsite was partially washed away and on a slope. It was difficult to walk around without tripping

Nice wooded campsites, very clean bathrooms and the location was excellent for visiting Ellijay, Blue Ridge and other locations in north GA. The camp managers keep the grounds very nice and are attentive to any issues or needs you may have. We enjoyed hiking, the local apple orchards and visiting the downtown areas. Our only complaint was the campground had no playground.

I will not revisit this place. The photos did not match the site, so it was falsely advertised. This particular camp site was literally remodeled with a stairway directly to the very close by neighboring site. When I camp, I don't want people 50 feet away who use my site to walk to through to get to the water. Literally, this was terrible. I feel like my money was taken from me. Avoid this place.

Campers are able to utilize the day use area for free, but if you have a vehicle parked in the day use parking lot then you have to pay the day use fee. You can be dropped off at the day use area and park at your campsite if you like. |
