A beautiful CG on the lake, very quite and roomy plus a new restroom. I've stayed here before with my popup but this trip was with the 35' 5th wheel. Much tighter moving around and very few sites that accommodate that size. Still great base campground for hitting the Benton-Mackaye and AT trails in the area.

WE had an amazing time at the Morganton Point Campground. Lot 14 was spectacular, there was so much room for 2 decent sized tents, 2 tables and the fire ring. There was an amazing view of the mountains from the lakefront which was only 20-50 ft away. Besides the below 20 degree weather, it was a near perfect trip.

Nice campground on Lake Blue Ridge. Our spot wasn't lakeside, but we had a great view from across the street. Our site was pretty unlevel front to back, but we made it work. Very nice camp host. New clean bathrooms. The weather wasn't great, but we were able to take some walks down to The Point. Very close to Blue Ridge and all that cute town has to offer.

Great camp hosts. Very clean bathroom. Downside was LL13 is muddy in campsite and will need 1) water diversion from spigot and driveway rain runoff, and 2) more ground rock for drainage of campsite

Campers are able to utilize the day use area for free, but if you have a vehicle parked in the day use parking lot then you have to pay the day use fee. You can be dropped off at the day use area and park at your campsite if you like. |
