Knowing we had one of the best sites there, we still allowed the campers behind us use the water front and we invited them to playing cards under our carport canopy when it rained. #Friendships that last forever!!

Excellent campsite! I’ve been staying here since I was a kid and always have a great time. The views from the tent only sites are wonderful and there are many hikes nearby. I recommend Falls Branch Falls and Helton Creek Falls (if you’re willing to take about a 45 minute drive).

Bathrooms and showers were nice and clean to use every time. The fire pit however is pretty deep with the grill a little high to be used to cook efficiently at our campsite.

Very nice and clean camp ground. The host are fantastic. Always there to help.
I have been camping in this camp ground for many many years. It's the only place I go to.

We had site #5 and it had a beautiful view of the lake. The fishing was great. The staff was very helpful and the bath house was very nice. It was also very close to the town of Blue Ridge and we had a great time there as well.

We stay there often...the new lady (gray short hair, slim, from Wisconsin) was extremely personable and seemed to be working at things to do with the camp much more than anyone we have ever seen there.....the restrooms were clean. etc....the area could sue more weed eating done, but not as much as in the past few years. Wish badly there were sewage since as we get older, dumping is much much harder.....handicapped and seniors are almost unable to camp in GA campgrounds because of this....sad.

Campers are able to utilize the day use area for free, but if you have a vehicle parked in the day use parking lot then you have to pay the day use fee. You can be dropped off at the day use area and park at your campsite if you like. |
