It started out to be a disaster. We had never been there before and did not choose a good spot for our camper (#27). Not level and electric box was too far for us to hook up. Site looked more like it was for tent camping than for a travel trailer (21'). Husband had to go back home (30 miles) to get an extension cord rather than drive all over trying to find one. Old bathhouse was right next to us. Typical old style but was clean. Interior roads are a disaster - full of pot holes. Now for the good part.... There is a brand new modern and up-to-date bathhouse that was great. We didn't have to use it but it was close to where we would camp if we return. Also has a new dump station. This trip was a test run for our "new to us" trailer. So it served to help us figure out what we needed to pack for next time. Staff was friendly - what we saw of them. Quiet - though we weren't there on the weekend. Some nice double sites for family camping. We live in the general area so we were already familiar with Morganton and Blue Ridge. Nice small towns to poke around in but we chose to just enjoy the quiet and relax. We will probably try to visit again sometime.

This campground is small but beautiful. Lake Blue Ridge is a calm quiet lake that is absolutely beautiful. The town of Blue Ridge is amazing and there is so much to see and do in the area. Amazingly, we also had good cell signal there. I’ll be going back many times.

Campground is well-maintained and shower facilities were very clean. The campground hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Great tent camping and RV experience with access to the lake. Whether you’re camping, fishing, kayaking or hiking, Morganton Point provides an awesome experience.

Very nice campground on the lake. Great views, well spaced sites, very well maintained, and a great (heated!) bathhouse. Will definitely be back.

The whole campground is very clean and well kept. Our campsite was great! The bathhouse was very clean and well stocked. The manager and hosts were friendly and very helpful. We have nothing but good things to say about this campground and will be returning as often as possible.

Nice campground and clean. Wonderful Hike in sites at the lake front! Sunset views🤩. Be aware that the guidance from Google can lead you astray but it is not too hard to figure out

Nice campground, clean and well cared for. Unfortunately, it rained the whole day we were there so we didn't get to enjoy all it had to offer.

Beautiful campground. We stayed the night in our 30’ RV and had zero issues.
