Our first time at Morganton Point and we will definitely return. Well maintained campgrounds with very clean restrooms. The 2 ladies who were the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly, they were the most interactive hosts we have ever encountered. They deliver firewood and ice right to your campsite when needed and always waved when going by, can't say enough good things about these 2 ladies. Can't wait for another camping trip to Morganton Point!!

Beautiful campground that stays on our “every year” list. The bath houses are clean and nice. The sites are well maintained and the tent site views over the water are beautiful.

The roads are a little tight to back in a bigger TT. They are also in pretty bad shape especially in the area that you have to turn around in to leave. Bad potholes and too narrow in the circle drive. Everything else was good, enough space between the sites and shaded. There is a new bath house and the power and water were fine.

Campers are able to utilize the day use area for free, but if you have a vehicle parked in the day use parking lot then you have to pay the day use fee. You can be dropped off at the day use area and park at your campsite if you like. |
